This is the original artwork on board that was used in the London Illustrated News March 17 1900 edition. Titled: With the Thorneycrofts Mounted Infantry: a rest in camp after battle of Spion Kop. Signed by artist. Comes with page of London Illustrated News of the extract artwork. Rare.

One Shilling Sterling. GOOD FOR note. This was a holding camp for Boer POW’s that were to sent overseas to POW camps. Fine condition.

Group photo of named spies belonging to a group run by Commandant Smith. On the back the photo is named to one of the men. Very rare Boer war intelligence original photo.
