Converted into brooch pin type but missing pin.
The “Tiger”, being the Rimington Tigers(Guides) previously.
Worn from 1901 to 1902 only.
The unit was raised in South Africa originally Rimington’s Guides. They wore Leopard skin on their slouch hat, and rather incongruously were known as “Rimington’s Tiger’s”. This unit became “Damant’s Horse”, also known as “Damant’s Tigers” in January 1901.
